The Training of Managerial Competency
On the morning of July 21st, Shiying Sexy Lingerie Co, .Ltd. invited Mr. Tao Qunshan to our company to take a managerial competency training course. This course took more than three hours but all of the participants benefited a lot from it. First of all, Mr. Tao pointed out that working goals plus working ranges are the main duties of department managers. The Goal includes Business Goal and Management Goal. Business goal is specific task while the management goal optimally helps achieve business objectives.

Through group tasks, Mr. Tao also pointed out the problems that exist in our team, then he offered some solutions. Because of the fuzzy boundary, divisions between all departments in our company are less effective. We haven’t set up a perfect incentives and accountability system yet. Each department should clearly distinguish their duties. Besides, the supervisor should reasonably distribute tasks and distinguish the department duties from personal duties.

Task One: Present the content of this training course. Everyone raised questions according to some situations appeared in his/her job. And Mr. Tao would answered one by one. Task Two: Draw out the Transaction Flow Diagram (TFD) of our company. We can clearly understand the general business operations. Purchasing、Production ----Marketing Department-----Sales Department------Warehousing Department. After purchasing and producing sexy lingerie items, the Marketing Department need to optimize and promote our products, and then the products go on sale in different platforms and websites. On receipt of an order, Sales Department need to print out the orders and hand in to Warehousing Department, where the will check the orders, prepare the goods and then ship them out.

The Suggestions of Personal Responsibilities: First, targets should be feasible. Second, targets should be brief and clear. Third, keep our responsibilities in mind. Forth, set up an accountability system and carry out intermittent accountability. This year, our company has a great expansion and recruits many new employees. Our company pays attention to internal training, and this training was aimed to improve our managerial staffs. It not only deepens the communication among each department but also leads the new staffs positively melt into this new group.
